Info! Info! Info!

What is ProjectMendLLC?

ProjectMendLLC (PMLLC) is a group practice offering both psychotherapy and coaching services.

Psychotherapy (listed on the scheduling page as “Individual Counseling”) is provided by licensed clinicians, including the founder, and is available only to individuals physically located in Texas at the time of each session, in accordance with Texas LPC regulations. These services are delivered via secure telehealth platforms and focus on personal growth, values alignment, and mental health support. Psychotherapy is not a crisis service and is distinct from coaching.

Coaching services are available to clients regardless of location and are designed to support life direction, goal-setting, and intentional action. Coaching is separate from psychotherapy and does not constitute therapy or crisis intervention.

Does PMLLC accept insurance?

Yes! ProjectMendLLC (PMLLC) accepts a range of insurance carriers for psychotherapy services (individual counseling). Coverage varies by plan, so please verify benefits with your insurance provider before scheduling.

We are currently credentialed with major carriers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare (including Optum), Aetna, Oscar (Optum), Horizon BCBS, Independence BCBS, Ascension (SmartHealth), Anthem EAP, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health.

Notes:

  • Insurance applies only to psychotherapy, not coaching services.

  • PMLLC is a group practice; claims may reflect the individual clinician providing services.

  • Clients are responsible for confirming coverage, copays, and network rules with their insurer.

For questions or help confirming coverage, please contact our team before scheduling.

How do I schedule a session?

Sessions can be scheduled through our website or by contacting our office. Session length, frequency, and structure vary by service type.

  • Initial sessions are used to assess fit, goals, and clinical appropriateness. Scheduling does not guarantee ongoing services.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 48 hours in advance.

How does PMLLC protect my privacy?

All virtual sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Confidentiality is maintained according to legal and professional standards.

Limitations of confidentiality include:

  • Threats of harm to self or others
  • Suspected abuse of a child, elderly person, or dependent adult
  • Court orders or legal requirements

Please note: PMLLC believes strongly in the evidenced-based belief that meeting crisis needs at the lowest level of care possible will result in the best outcome. Please do not hesitate to discuss with your clinician the many steps which can occur that often can prevent the need to break continentality.

What if I am in crisis or need emergency support?

PMLLC is not a 24/7 crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing thoughts of self-harm or harm to others:

  • Go to your nearest emergency room
  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
